As many of you know the release of Appalachian Terror Unit’s Black Sands 7″ was delayed due to the use of a sample. After months of fruitless e-mails, unreturned phone calls, several re-mixes and re-masters we are excited to say that this will record will finally hit the streets early 2012. This is an amazing record. A.T.U. at their best! We are excited to finally share it with the rest of the world. As a “THANK YOU” to everyone who has been patiently waiting… and a big “FUCK YOU” to the powers that be we uploaded a version of the song they didn’t want you to hear. Enjoy!
MP3: ATU End of Complacency
This isn’t an attempt at yellow journalism. While cleaning out the Profane storage, we discovered an old box that contained 300 STATE OF FEAR 7″ records! This record was long out of print and highly sought after. Now it’s available again… until they are gone. Get it direct from PE for only $3.00 and avoid the collector mark ups. Not available for trade.
IN DEFENCE play raging thrash punk crossover with a sarcastic/humorous yet political approach to their lyrics. Comparisons have been made to bands like R.A.M.B.O, Caustic Christ, and a more anarchist leaning/politically correct version of SOD. This is a reissue of their long out of print first LP. It includes bonus cuts from their split 7″ with Black Market Fetus and lost comp trax as well as classic IN DEFENCE anthems like “NO WAR… BUT STAR WARS”, “BIKE THIEVES CAN SUCK IT!”, “I EAT KIDS” and the first two installments in the “CALL MORE DUDES” Trilogy. PE… Making it available on vinyl again!
