DISRESPECT started in Minneapolis as a classic 80′s punk rock cover band by former and current members of DESTROY, MISERY, etc. and eventually started writing original songs in the same spirit. This is 80′s style anarcho-UK style punk. This includes their first two EP’s that were both recorded in 2004. It also features three previously unreleased covers from the likes of ABRASIVE WHEELS, L7, and TURBO NEGRO.
GARMONBOZIA

Haunting crust from Minneapolis with female vocals and cello, which varies from quiet and intricate melodies, to full-on d-beat thrash. Their lyrics have a very serious and angry tone to them taking on tough topics like mental health and patriarchal domination within the punk movement. While GARMONBOZIA have since broken up their message and music continue to influence the sounds and ideas of the anarcho-punk movement world-wide.

IN DEFENCE are definitely hometown favorites (usually drawing bigger crowds than the touring bands they support), have a relentless tour schedule, and are comfortable playing with bands from across the hardcore / punk / metal spectrum. Provoked is the direct result of gathering five of the maddest heads in Minneapolis into a single band. Eleven tracks of raging, thrash-influenced, anarcho-punk mayhem, with strong female vocals and angry social-political commentary. This was released in May, 2005 and includes tracks from their split EP with PATH OF DESTRUCTION. The physical copies of this are sold out but here it is, again, in digital format.

Minneapolis monsters of d-beat crust PROVOKED are back with a vengeance! This record features their new vocalist, Kerri, taking over for Scaba who found her life’s love in Germany after their last European tour.
